"Just had an awesome Fall weekend stay and exceptional experience at the Sturgis House, an elegant Victorian B&B in East Liverpool, OH (the historic Pottery Capital of the US)! The updated bathrooms blend perfectly with the home's charming period details. Huge rooms, comfortable beds, luxurious bedding and professional, attentive & friendly hosts (Alicia & Lisa) made us feel right at home. The full breakfast was not only delicious but also filling! With beautiful inlaid hardwood floors and exquisite detailing, this place is a true gem. It's just a short walk from the Pear Tree Gift Shop, Pottery Museum, The Vault Bar/Restaurant, and other downtown treasures. Plus, the Fiestaware Factory Outlet & the "Point of Beginning" Surveying Marker (for all my survey & engineer friends), and Beaver Creek State Park (hiking) are just a short drive away along the Ohio River. If you love antiques, history, and the beautiful outdoors, this town is a must-visit! We'll definitely be back!"
